COMFORT ZONE ALERT

Isaiah
54 - 4 - 5

For you will forget the shame of your youth,
And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of Hosts is His name;
and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
He is called the God of the whole earth.

KJV

One year ends, another begins.   Traffic came to a standstill waiting to feed into the local supermarket for one last mad dash for alcohol and nibbles before the partying begins.

"Hey Lizzie" a voice shouted from the parking lot.   "Coming over to ours tonight we expect a full house"   It was a neighbour who normally held a large New Year's Eve party and he was loading bottles and tins into the back of his Range Rover.   Perhaps he felt sorry for the old girl and half hoped she would not accept invitation.

"Sorry" shouted Lizzie across the car park "I WILL BE ON MY KNEES praying for this God forsaken country and its leaders.   There was a momentary hush as passing fellow shoppers didn't know whether to laugh or just ignore the elderly woman.

The man closed the boot of his car thinking 'mad old coot' I've done really well this year at this rate I should be able to buy that off shore retreat and retire early.   He climbed into the driver seat and glanced at his passenger bedecked in gold jewellery, designer clothes with not a single strand out of place on her coiffured hair.

Lizzie panted dragging the overloaded shopping trolley up the slight incline.   Perhaps she considered she had overdone it as usual but the youngsters had large appetites and no one ever left her table empty.   She heard the approaching car and gave a little giggle, despite her advancing years she had still made it home before her neighbour.

The woman in the passenger seat noticed the bedraggled figure disappearing up the path to her front door.   "How on earth did she do that" she complained to her irate husband.   He turned into his driveway and said "well if we hadn't been stuck in traffic that would not have been the case, how long before gridlock?"

"They say she is seventy-six years old.   Hardly a wrinkle in sight, how does she do that, the amount I spend on so called miracle products is disgusting, not to mention the cost of hairdressing and manicures.   He glanced at the masked face.   "Not doing much good then is it"? he replied "never mind, keep going, the finance is available and you might eventually find a product that helps and I will see an improvement in my savings account."  A voice whispered "or save a soul"   His wife raised her hand and smacked him on the shoulder.   "Hey" protested her man "physical violence, physical violence."    She was not letting this go "what's her secret, locals say she is such a happy person, literally joyful and she doesn't wear any make-up or even bother with trendy fashion.   Its just jeans and jumper"

"When you find the secret to what she has and what you haven't got let me know" replied her husband as he headed for the kitchen and a very needed cup of coffee.   He was sure he heard the word "Hope"

Later that evening a small group headed down Lizzie's long rambling garden to the Annexe.   This sturdy stone building had served as a play house for young children, a safe place for teenage parties and Lizzie remembered the times they had enjoyed clearing the mess that had been firmly contained well away from the immaculately maintained house and parental scrutiny,  although she did suspect her father was guilty of peering through the windows now and again just to check.

The large stone fireplace took pride of place. Customised box storage seating was arranged around the four walls.   Loads of space for toys and later on games and costumes from their various theme events.     How she loved the memories it held for her.   Here they would leave the old year and welcome the new.   A huge fire blazed in the grate.   Wooden flooring had been polished and a large rug lay in front of the hearth.   Two chairs, one would always remain empty for their Lord, he was their High Priest and the other a concession for Lizzie who usually had to be lifted off the floor after any attempt to sit for any length to time amongst the group.   The youngsters happily lolled on the brightly coloured bean bags.  The three tier trolley held refreshments and a small wooden table held a small loaf and a decanter of wine covered with a white cloth.

The final count was nine.   Ben explained one couple had a problem getting a reliable baby sitter for New Year's Eve and June had succumbed to an attack of flu.   "Nevertheless' proclaimed Ben "For where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there in the midst of them.  Matthew 18 - 20

The sound of bawdy laughter drifted through an open window from the neighbour's party.   "Could you please shut the window Ben" Lizzie suggested "we have another way of leaving one year and starting another.

The bread was broken and the wine drank in His Holy Name.   The room filled with praise and the weight of the Holy Spirit fell on the small gathering.    They prayed for a hurting world, for those who paid the price for a country at war, the innocent children traumatised by the horror of brutal butchery, orphaned and alone.   No doubt one day they would understand everything, but for now they knew that their brothers and sisters were being slaughtered by men who were under the control of a very dark power.

They prayed God would deal with their leaders who shamelessly continued to supply weapons of war to tyrannical powers.   Judgement would come.

They prayed Lord your Kingdom come, use us in the days ahead.   Give us the words to speak in every situation.   Let Your Will be done.   Strengthen us as we face increasing persecution and no doubt draw the attention of those who are building a very different church.

The fireworks sounded the hour, midnight, welcoming only heaven knows what in the coming year.  Ben announced a proposed makeover for the tiny sanctuary which was filling as people realised the only hope they had was Jesus.   When it reached twelve the overflow would form another cell.    The true church of God was going underground.

Lizzie remembered reading an account of the martyrdom of the apostles.   "One account particularly spoke to me" she said "that of Paul.   He was beheaded but he was also abandoned by the others"   I would imagine the original messianic jews had a problem with his actions before the Lord got hold of him on the road to Damascus.

2 Timothy 4 - 6-8 ( letter to Timothy)
"For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.   I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

She continued "the Lord didn't choose the learned or the wise but a simple shepherd boy David to be King.   That's the way he works.   We just thank Him for blessing us and giving us a glimpse of His Kingdom to come.

Can we remember christians out there who have stood for their beliefs and often been abandoned by family and friends who quite frankly consider them (along with the present Pope) "bonkers"  It's hard to walk alone but Yeshua hated the Nicolatians with one foot in the world and one in the church.   Lord we are grateful for this small fellowship, protect those who have to soldier on alone unable to find a group in their area upholding biblical truth.

Like Enoch, walk with God, and you cannot mistake your road.   You have infallible wisdom to direct you, immutable love to comfort you, and eternal power to defend you.  'Jehovah' - mark the word - 'Jehovah' shall guide thee continually.'*

Eventually they left the Annexe totally unaware they were being observed through a gap in the hedge.    The party in the neighbouring garden was in full swing,  gyrating bodies squealed and punched the air totally eliminating any chance to overhear the conversations in the small procession heading towards the main house.    Still the woman could see Lizzie and couldn't help noticing how her smile illuminated and radiantly infused the whole group.  "What on earth are they singing?

"I will follow Him, follow Him where ever he may lead."   Don't know that one she muttered to herself as she staggered back to the drinks trolley.   "Now darling" she approached her husband draped over a young woman half his age "perhaps we might sort out that holiday abroad soon.   My tan is getting a tad tired you know" she turned towards her amused audience.     "How does a trip to the Seychelles sound" her husband removed his gaze from the ample cleavage of his temptress.      "Lovely darling, let's do it" he replied.

She continued "Don't forget Jill has asked me to be Peter's godmother.    Course I don't believe in all that stuff but Jeremy and I are booking the Hall for the refreshments after the ceremony.    We'll sort the details out next week and before I know it I will be zooming to the sun again" and with that final comment the empty vessel clattered into the dining room for another session at the trough.

Lizzie stood at her bedroom window gazing at the stars.   She knew that the coming year would bring with it tragedy and sorrow for many.   It was literally the beginning of sorrows.  Matthew 24 - 8

And the end of the world? false prophets abound.   People were panicking on their daily diet of earthquakes and aliens to say nothing of natural disasters.

Matthew 24 - 36
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

O sweet Lord Jesus;
Thou art the present portion of Thy people,
favour us this year with such a sense of Thy preciousness,
that from its first to its last day we may be glad and rejoice in Thee.
Let January open with joy in the Lord,
and December close with gladness in Jesus!

INNOCENCE

Beautiful child, angelic face,
the scene illuminated with her grace.
She sees a sick and dying world
tiny hands raised, wings unfurled.
"No hope, no hope" she sadly cries,
judgement comes on all your lives.

You couldn't help but notice the beautiful young girl waiting patiently at the supermarket checkout.   Long dark hair tumbled almost to her waist, her face a picture of trust and innocence focus firmly fixed on her parent.

The rape of her innocence by dross that is currently under consideration for distribution in the state primary schools in England came to mind, sordid cartoons and explicit pictures which would make even the hardiest soul sick to the stomach, but then in this world children are fodder for evil minds.  Whilst they can't force this on independent or private schools reading between the lines "funding could be at risk"

There is only one way to deal with this massive intrusion into parental rights and that is to remove your children from the danger zone and the Orwellian state system.   If this is allowed against the protests of the parents it means only one thing.    Thanks to a general state of apathy we are drifting into a dictatorship.   Reading between the lines of the patronising reply to a letter of complaint,  the relevant State Department was courteous but dismissive considering teachers had authority over the parents.

Christian parents should not allow any teacher to inflict society's decadent morals on their children.   This used to be a christian country and the laws were based on christian values, sadly even the churches are contaminated.   I doubt many decent non-believing parents would consider explicit details of anal or oral sex as suitable for a seven year old.   Some dark force is hell bent on stealing their innocence.

Thankfully the Supreme Court in Scotland unanimously ruled that the Scottish Government's Named Person Scheme is unlawful.   Under the proposals every child in Scotland was to be assigned a state guardian to monitor their 'well being' directly undermining the parent-child relationship and contravening privacy laws.

The Supreme Court noted:
"The first thing that a totalitarian regime tries to do is to get at the children, to distance them from the subversive, varied influences of their families, and indoctrinate them in their rulers' view of the world.  Within limits, families must be left to bring up their children in the Christian faith.  The Christian Institute won their case against the Scottish Government who are now facing a legal bill of £500,000.

All thanks to men and women who are prepared to stand for their beliefs and go the extra mile.

Even outside the education system children are bombarded with politically correct behaviour patterns before the so called watershed.   The BBC are by far the worse offenders.   Of course we can all switch off their offensive programmes.

The internet whilst an excellent research tool is also full of garbage and children and parents can easily become addicted staring at a screen for hours on end.   The conversations on Facebook are mindless.   A few years ago the writer had a Facebook account and when conversing with fellow christians a little box would appear announcing I couldn't post that particular text.   Bye bye Facebook.  Now they are suggesting they will remove offensive comments.  One can only wonder quite how that will be policed.

Of course there have always been parents who fail or abuse their children, and for those who try to lead by example perhaps trusting their child to do likewise is misplaced.   On the other hand children should be warned of inappropriate behaviour, that that part of their body  is private  however the proposed literature is simply attracting their curiosity and completely eliminating  parental choice where standards,  moral code or religious laws are concerned.  There is far too much state intervention in all the wrong places.

Children will eventually be subjected to influences outside our control.   We can only pray we have done the ground work and that they will be able to swim against the tide.

There are times when every sacrifice,
every labour throughout a lifetime seems utterly wasted,
BUT THEN YOU KNOW THAT ONE.

There are times when every gift from God
was put aside in the daily grind of survival.
Good parents know that one.

The basic instinct to nuture and protect children is strong and sacrificial.
BUT THEN FATHER YOU KNOW THAT ONE.

THE HUMBLE CHURCH

The righteous and elect will be saved on that day,
and they will never again see the face of the sinners and unrighteous.

The Lord of Spirits will abide with them, and with the Son of Man will they eat,
lie down, and rise up with Him forever.

The righteous and elect will rise from the earth, and cease to be of downcast countenance, and they will be clothed with garments of eternal life.

Book of Enoch
Chapter 62
The Second Coming.

Lizzie Downs was fortunate that she owned her own home.   Her father had bequeathed the now shabby detached victorian house to his daughter but sadly the money heating and maintaining the property would soon run out.  Lizzie considered she could hang on for just a few more years.

Nearby neighbours with their renovated properties and expensive cars just hoped Lizzie would pop off soon, the property would then be sold and the eye sore would hopefully receive a designer make over.   After all the area was considered highly desirable by young city professionals with its double driveways and spacious gardens.   Nevertheless they had little spare time to observe any activity or show any concern for the old lady's welfare.   Perhaps only when there was a really bad smell,  swarms of bluebottles crawling up the windows or festering milk bottles on the step would someone passing by realise something was amiss.

Lizzie watched from her lounge window as Ted approached her driveway.   He was apprehended by a   smartly dressed woman who enquired "does the elderly lady that lives in that house  have any friends, rumour has it she is a christian but I have never seen her in my church or at any of the interfaith meetings.

"Yes she is and no you won't" came Ted's terse reply "she has her friends and they wouldn't put a foot over a church threshold teaching twisted doctrine.

"So they don't keep the Sabbath holy" suggested the rather irate interviewer.

"Actually they do, but the Sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday."

"She's not Jewish is she?" enquired the pedantic interrogator her face flushed with rising irritation.

"No" replied Ted.   Thinking to himself - keep going - and mentally putting on the whole armour.

"Fascinating" said the woman completely ignoring Ted's statement "then presuming she is a christian, she is already breaking one commandment, to keep holy the sabbath" the patronising woman smiled triumphantly considering she could win any argument.

"Have you read the bible?" Ted enquired "where does it mention anything about a building be it church or temple, whatever,  in the second commandment.   God said you are supposed to rest - as He did from the work of creation.   Christian traditions invented by the early church imposed their will on others and when that didn't work were happy to abuse and silence anyone who questioned their authority.   Religion has caused more wars and bloodshed than anything else on this planet.   Lizzie is a born again christians, she follows Christ.

"Well" replied the irate woman hardly able to conceal her disgust  "the Pope has suggested they are bonkers"

Ted raised his shield and sword replying "the head of your church walks on thin ice -  dangerous words.    But then the catholic church will clutch it's rosary bead having knocked Almighty God off the throne and replaced Him with a blond, european version of Miriam (very different from the real mother of Jesus,  a simple Jewish virgin whose unopened womb would receive the embryo of the Son of God) just one of the many false idols they worship.   A den of vipers and hypocrites who nurture the abomination of sodomy in their ranks, prey on innocent children and persecute their victims.   But soon, very soon they will thrash the air in in despair, choke on their own vomit and ride in scarlet robes straight to hell.

"Well really" spluttered the intimidated woman clutching her handbag almost as though she expected physical violence at any moment "you are obviously not a Roman Catholic"

"Lady - I thank God I am not" said Ted turning into Lizzie's driveway.

Lizzie watched the figures standing at the bottom of her driveway and recognised Ted.    "Ah Ted" she contemplated "what a fighter"    She remembered their first meeting.   He had fallen asleep on the local train which had arrived at the end of the line.   "Sorry mate" said the guard "terminus, we don't go any further."    She was amazed at her boldness "just give him a minute" she said to the guard "I think he was deeply asleep, its lovely and warm on these coaches."

Ted glanced at her and wondered why anyone would bother to notice him in his present predicament.
His clothes were grubby, his face covered in stubble.   He struggled to get out of the seat stiff from the journey grabbing his dirty backpack.

Lizzie stood watching on the platform.   The village lay at the end of the line.  Unless the man was visiting friends he would be on a return journey to the city,  everyone knew everyone in  Heldon and would view the stranger with considerable suspicion although the area was heavily covered by surveillance cameras and the local police were often in attendance from the local town as the area was well known for the luxurious gated second homes of those in the halls of power.

The man enquired as to the next train back to the city and shuffled into the waiting room.   Lizzie called through the open doorway.   "Excuse me, please don't take offence, but I couldn't help wondering if you needed help.   I have a large house not far from the station and you are quite welcome to stay overnight if that would help.   We don't have any hotels as such here, there's a pub but that's it.

"Thanks" said Ted "but I need my money to get a ticket back to the city" He glanced at the woman and wondered how anyone could lay themselves open to a complete stranger.

"My husband is hardly new age" said Lizzie laughing "he manages a boiled egg and knows where the tin opener is but that's it, but I did prepare a meal in my slow cooker before I left home this morning.   You are very welcome"

Ted observed the woman through half closed eye lids.   A meal and a warm bed would be a blessing but this kind of woman didn't exist in his world.   The women he knew were takers and when they had taken everything he was swiftly evicted.  He seriously hoped she wasn't a holy roller and that he would be told Jesus cared for him.   "Yeah right" he would reply.   How many times had he heard that one from the street workers.   "Swop places with me then" he would say but he knew it was all talk.   It made them feel good about their comfort zone, just handing out a few sandwiches and a drink, but    somehow he knew this woman was different.

They arrived on the door step of the old house, it seemed rather out of place with the surrounding properties but the smell of food and the sweet aroma of oil of orange was welcoming.

"Hi Jack" said Lizzie "we have company for dinner.   I picked this young man up at the station, he fell asleep on the train.   I think he needs our help.  Jack tore himself away from his favourite programme on the T.V.   One look at the stranger said everything.   Lizzie was at it again, trying to save the world one at a time.

"How about a long hot soak and some fresh clothes" he said pointing to the stairway.   Size 15 collar okay.?

What's the catch Ted pondered as he followed the man to the bathroom.   The fittings were old but spotlessly clean and Jack started to run the bath pointing to the numerous soaps and deodorants that were held in a small oak cupboard beside the bath.

"Help yourself" he said "I'll get you some new gear and leave it on the chair.   Shaving stuff on the side unless of course you are growing a beard"  He smiled at the youngster considering he was probably about forty years old.   Maybe younger.   Living on the city streets men become old before their time.

Ted found his way downstairs and through the open doorway into the dining room.   "My oh my" declared Lizzie "don't you look just fine"   The stubble had gone, his hair tied back in an elastic band and although Jack's clothes were slightly on the large side he was hardly recognisable.

"Dinner's ready" shouted Lizzie from the kitchen "pull up a chair and tuck in"   As he ate the meal he felt the strength returning to his body.   Still he considered why were these people so kind, what had they to gain from sharing their home with a complete stranger.   He was more used to people kicking him as he slept on a cardboard box.   Rats lived down the drains out of sight, but people managed to sleep walk past the homeless in denial, no place for losers in their world.   When Ted ran out of money the cold chips and curry sauce were a feast he shared alongside the rodent fraternity.   In safe comfortable surrounds Ted was able to tell his story, sadly all too common in an uncaring selfish greedy world.    Lizzie and Jack were used to helping others and were already planning to help the young man.

"Stay with us" said Jack "there's not much work in the village, but you can help me in the garden and we will start putting feelers out with people we know in the town who might be able to use your skills.   Phillip will be back on Friday.   Lizzie explained they had another victim of the callous world
and he will tell you his story.

Saturday night he sat with Phillip in front of a blazing fire enjoying a pint and Phillip recalled his nights on the London embankment totally destitute.   From a top executive in a blue chip company with a beautiful wife, detached house, all the trimmings to abject poverty.    He bore the scars of rejection and Ted wondered what sort of a wife could suddenly stop loving her man because he had been made redundant and was struggling to find work.   "Well" replied Phillip "that was something I had to work out for myself.   She has the house, car, yacht and flat on the Costa del Sol.   Now three marriages later she is a very wealthy woman using either death or divorce to her advantage.   He showed Ted a cutting from the local newspaper of an immaculately dressed peroxide blond with a predatory icy blue stare.  Phillip continued "if it hadn't been for Lizzie I would have probably given up, but she took me in and gave me a home.   Now I am back on my feet but a warning light goes on when someone starts getting too close.   I am not going there again.

Ted made a rapid recovery.   His confidence grew in their sheltering kindness.   They were good people and he often wondered why their simple lifestyle was so full of happiness.   They had sufficient.   God had provided for them and they could bless others.   He came across an old bible in his dressing table drawer and started to read it.    If everyone followed the rules in that good book it would surely be heaven on earth.    Still there was nothing outwardly religious in the household, no statues, no bible bashing.   Just a handful of guidance here and there.   As Lizzie put it "I don't follow any church leadership, I follow my Master and what He taught us"

Ten years later and Lizzie was a widow.   The loss of her lifelong friend and husband was hard but she knew she had to accept God's will.   Sometimes Ted would hear her mutter "he's better out of it"
Ted was back on his feet.   He had a flat in the nearby town and his newly acquired joinery skills were constantly in demand, financially he was well placed to buy his own home.    Every week he would visit Lizzie and  make sure she was coping, but she was getting weaker and finding the large house a struggle.

She confided in Ted "I would really like this house to be of use to those who have fallen through the net.    With the latest cut backs thanks to the new "iron lady" it's getting worse.   You have become the son we wished for, but never had.   I will leave the place to you because I know I can trust you to turn it to good use.   When you came to us you were "on the edge"  We believe everyone responds to love and support but we also realised some you lose, some you win.   You can carry the flame on for us.

The memory of their conversation faded as Lizzie opened the doorway noticing Ted's ruddy cheeks signalling an abrupt rise in blood pressure.

"Ted was that woman annoying you" she said noticing he was clearly aggravated.

"They make me sick" replied Ted remembering in awful detail the days he spent in a catholic orphanage.   Perhaps his role as an altar boy gave him a slight edge but he wondered where this God was when he witnessed abuse and cruelty.   No - he would never believe He existed.

Lizzie knew his painful past so she kept praying.  Lord, open his eyes and his ears.   But her conversations with Ted were more about sowing, she might never see the harvest.   There was time for a quick coffee before he would drag the old lawn mower out of the outhouse and cut a wide path down the long garden to the annexe and air raid shelter still hidden behind brambles and bushes at the very edge of her boundary fence.   The overgrown garden was a mixture of all things naturally seeded.   Flowers identified by man as weeds, pretty flowers in their own right and plants that resurrected every year to bloom again in all their splendour.

"Right Lizzie, done and dusted, it should last a couple of weeks" said Ted as he walked into the breakfast room.   Lizzie sat in her favourite chair watching a news report.      "Oh" he exclaimed "don't tell me they are at it again Putin bashing, what are they trying to do start World War 3.   That will bring a few to their knees."

''Yeah" said Lizzie throwing her hands in the air in joyful anticipation.   "When they are standing in the rubble of their houses, have run out of food and that satanic box in the corner of their lounge  has been smashed to smithereens, their precious idols crushed, perhaps then they might realise who they have been following and that dark Lord's agenda.

'Slipped up there' thought Ted grinning.   Every opportunity and she's in there.   Lizzie put her arms around Ted remembering he was once a victim who needed to know his Saviour before the healing could begin.

"Can you come round Friday night" Lizzie enquired "I need to get you up to speed with the group, when my number is called I would like you to keep supporting them.  It's going to get very dark and they will need protection from the coming storm.
"Not Dad's army revisited then" said Ted laughing.

"No" replied Lizzie wistfully "next time around it will be annihilation and for those who don't know the Lord the END.   Full stop.    The annexe was a regular meeting place for the small group of born again christians who refused to bow the knee to Baal.   Ted was working full time turning the house into self contained flats ready to provide sanctuary for the broken.

For a while things ran smoothly then one late summer evening the doors to the annexe had been flung open to let in the cool air.    The sound of singing reached the ears of a neighbour who complained "what the heck is that racket - I don't pay my rates to listen to that after a hectic week, I'll put in a noise pollution complaint next week.    Receiving a rather cryptic letter the next morning Lizzie wondered exactly what lay ahead but she was ready for a fight.

TERMINUS

I crawl over the bedrock of my life,
hearing screams of the wounded,
seeing tears of the oppressed.

My body cumbersome, unlovely,
dodging the waiting predators,
sensing that this time is but brief.

They are blind, deaf, arrogant and presumptuous,
not knowing what little knowledge they have is God given,
and they feed on the innocents.

With each choking breath I struggle, afraid to leave this space,
then suddenly I hear Your voice, feel Your love and peace,
I shrug off this burden, dead weight,
I am light,
unseen as mortal breathed air.

All dreams and visions now reality,
brother and sister souls skimming space and time,
returning home.
Into your hands Father God,
I commend my spirit.

Must life be a failure for one compelled to stand still in enforced inaction and see the great throbbing tides of life go by?   No; victory is then to be gotten by standing still, by quiet waiting........................

It requires a grander heroism to stand and wait and not to lose heart and not to lose hope,
to submit to the will of God.*

SHELTER IN THE PSALMS

If the foundations be destroyed,
what can the righteous do?

Psalm 11 - 3
KJV

The days are short and long hours of darkness lie ahead.  Trees continue to shed their leaves covering gardens and pavements in a cloak of gold, copper and red.   Nature whispers - rest until resurrection.  Angry skies darken and cold winds blow rotten leaves into untidy piles.

The moral rot increases undermining and corrupting innocent minds.  Sodom and Gomorrah re-visited.  Sabre rattling continues.   Men of war look to evoke conflict regardless of global  disaster.   Self appointed prophets predict the end of the world and the date and day pass by as men continue to squabble over boundaries and false gods like petulant spoilt children.  Yet their actions are observed.

Psalm 10 - 11

He hath said in his heart,
God hath forgotten:
he hideth his face;
he will never see it.
KJV

Where to now for the genuine followers of Jesus Christ, sickened and saddened  by the bloodshed and mayhem, watching the depressing trail of depraved and lost souls dancing on the edge of oblivion.

Psalm 12 - 1

HELP, Lord: for the godly man ceaseth;
for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
KJV

Right now we need all the encouragement we can get.   Rather like the Lord's disciples it's a case of fight or flight.   Some will deny, some will run and some will stay at the foot of the cross.

It's never too late to repent and turn your life around.   God sees the heart and knows sincere repentance.  You can't fight this world, it's on a fast track to destruction, but you can save your soul.
Jesus comes to the Mary Magdalene,  those fighting injustice, the sick and weary and oppressed, you only have to ask.   He will give you peace in the storm and courage to endure until His Kingdom comes and perhaps the greatest blessing:

Psalm 17 - 15

As for me,  I will behold thy face in righteousness:
I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
KJV

Psalm 119 - 105

THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET
AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH.

REVELATION 21

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
KJV

This pilgrim will be singing "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" to the very
last breath.

Amy Grant on her album "Straight Ahead" and  "Greatest Hits" sings "Thy Word"  written by Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith.

It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord uses singers, writers and poets to get his message across to those who would never pick up a bible.   The truck driver on the highway a harassed young mum struggling through her day blessed unknowingly by a melody that will prayerfully make them  both curious  enough to begin their pilgrimage to salvation.

PRAYER WARRIORS ARISE

Ephesians 6 - 12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.

That's it" said Paula to the little terrier trotting valiantly by her side.   "I am not opening the door to any one tonight because I might just be tempted to have a go with my new base ball bat."    She passed a parade of the living dead, accompanied by a couple of witches.  The men silent, the women cackling.  Great effort had been made to ensure the costumes and the make-up were authentic.     In a nearby terrace a life sized realistic model of a corpse hanging.   What!!!! how sick is that she muttered as she turned the corner into the apartment block.

It had now gone way past the local kids wearing an old white bed sheet  banging on her door for sweets.   Yes, she knew them and in the past just gave them some sweets.   Now the supermarkets and shops had shelves filled with junk.   Mini skeletons, vampire fangs, devil horns attached to a hair band"  Bottled blood.   One local woman proclaimed "I always take the children to the grave yard on Halloween."   The history of this place was rife with witches and Paula considered some would no doubt be right at home in hell with the devil and his angels if that was their preferred destination.

Meanwhile hell continues apace in the middle east where the real blood and broken bodies lie in the streets and evil political powers in the real world continue their strangle hold on the innocent.   One could be forgiven for thinking we were regressing at the speed of light to the savagery of our ancestors.    WE HAVE LEARNT NOTHING.!!!

Strangely we don't see the Pope or the Archbishop of Canterbury risking their head in a basket or handing food and emergency rations to the suffering masses.

In his book "The knowledge of the Holy" A.W. Tower writes:

"It is my opinion that the Christian conception of God current in these middle years of the twentieth century is so decadent as to be utterly beneath the dignity of the Most High God and actually to constitute for professed believers something amounting to a moral calamity."

Many real men of God have been taken home and those that remain suffer ill health as they continue to press the message home.  The mishmash of interfaith and corruption of simple basic theology is sending the denominations down the road to perdition.   The majority do not believe in either God or Satan must less consider God might require their life sacrifice.

Hell on earth is a reality for many in the Middle East and will eventually spread it tentacles across the globe.   Unlike horror films and occult worship this will not be a choice,  many will realise too late that this will be their residence throughout eternity.

In July 2016 the Christian Institute had a resounding victory against the Named Person scheme.
Under the proposals, every child in Scotland was to be assigned a state guardian to monitor their 'well being' however the Supreme Court judgment noted that:

"The first thing that a totalitarian regime tries to do is to get at the children, to distance them from the subversive, varied influences of their families, and indoctrinate them in their rules view of the world.   Within limits, families must be left to bring up their children in their own way"

A small Scottish pad looks increasingly attractive.

The Christian Institute further stated "Christians were praying as never before because they would have faced severe difficulties from the scheme, but our gracious God has acted powerfully to preserve the freedom of Christians to bring up their children in the Christian faith".   Amen to that.

The latest proposed literature for primary schools could only be described as pornographic literature.   Why would a child need to know about Anal intercourse.   Just another dark agenda on the part of the gay lobby.   This includes 7+ being taught about oral sex.    It is disgusting and christians need to rise against it.

Of course it is possible that Satan's cohorts will get away with this, regardless of protests, and then the only alternative will be to remove your children from the state system - legally - and home school.   Something I certainly would have had every intention of doing.

Meanwhile the Christian Institute will receive my financial backing and I encourage all those who read my blog to support them and write letters of protest to the government departments concerned.

This proposed literature has very dark agenda to corrupt innocent minds with explicit sexual literature literally stealing their innocence and robbing them of their childhood.   It is simply an abomination.   Of course there is absolutely no guarantee if you decide to remove your child from state education that sooner or later they will have to fight their corner where peer groups are concerned, but we can only pray that God will protect them and give them the strength to stand for His laws and precepts.

Of course we all know what Jesus Christ said regarding individuals who corrupt and mislead little children.    Millstones will make sure they "go straight down"  Matthew 18-6

J.R. Miller gives a wonderful description of what Jesus Christ suffered in his article "Living without Worry - The Ministry of Suffering.

"He (Jesus) knew what is was to be homeless and friendless, with an atmosphere of icy hate all about him.   He knew what it was to be betrayed by one he had cherished for years as a friend, to be denied by another, to be forsaken by all, and to stand utterly alone in the centre of the world's rage and cruelty"

Any one who has taken the time to read Matthew 24 (written over 2,000 years ago) can see we are now in the "beginning of sorrows" and there is much yet to unfold.    We are called to "pick up our cross and follow our Lord" regardless of the consequences and are called to stand against this darkness.

So we rise and pray God will give us the strength to endure the coming tribulation.   Our home can be our sanctuary and heaven help anyone who crosses my threshold with evil intent.    Of course Father we know "thy shalt not kill" but after I have compromised their mobility I can bless them with a spare pair of crutches. :-)    In the film Knowing - Nicholas Cage thrashes the nearest tree with his base ball bat shouting "do you want some of this"   Obviously he considered that would make the intruder think twice.   I only pray God has a sense of humour because I will always defend little children and animals against cruelty.   Adults have choices and they eventually suffer the consequences.

For those who have been totally mislead by prosperity preachers and expect to get raptured off this earth without any suffering.   Sorry - that is not biblical.

Jesus calls us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves, good advice when a mere verbal confrontation can land its unsuspecting victim in court, in the case of contempt,  prison.    We DO NOT live in a democracy as the young people will soon find to their cost.

Grateful thanks to the "watchman" who drew my attention to the offensive literature I shall be praying the Lord will deal with both the author and the department concerned.

Of course there is one advantage to all this.   Teachers who have already left the education system neither accepting this anticipated development or state interference in their role as teacher, could discover rewarding consequences and as home tutors be very much in demand, financially independent and secure without state interference in their lives.

Apathy is a disease, we have to take a stand.   Join and support The Christian Institute.   Keep in touch with the latest moves by the sons and daughters of the dark Lord.   Protect innocent minds always teaching them we are called "to love our neighbour" regardless of colour, tribe or tongue.   They will face persecution and worse but the wonderful witness of the suffering christians in the Middle East says it all.    Lord give us their courage and strength as our time will surely come.

FINALITY

Matthew 24 - 36

Jesus said "But of that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels of heaven,
but My Father only."

NKJV

Of course you have the You-tube self appointed prophets who gave the date 31st October 2016 as the end of the world, perhaps they might seriously consider leaving that decision to God.

The 31st October 2016 came and went and if you had decided to gather your family around you and  party your way to the very end the bad news is you are still here as the world continues to teeter on the brink of self destruction at the hands of the lunatic fringe.

God says when, not the politicians, oligarchy or self appointed prophets.  Even now men who challenge the status quo are seen as a threat to THE agenda and disappear or finish up in captivity.   History repeats itself and we never never learn from our mistakes.  We ignore ancient scripture that predicts the sequence of events and the great tribulation BEFORE the coming of the Son of Man.   In Matthew 24 - 7 the accuracy of the prediction is realised.

Jesus said "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.   And there will be famines, pestilences, and earth quakes in various places.

(8) All these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Meanwhile those who trawl the internet for the first warning of warfare are preparing to scuttle down their rather plush survival shelters.   Perhaps they might read a bible whilst they are down there and repent.    There is much tribulation ahead.

Matthew 10 - 36

Jesus said "and a man's enemies will be those of his own household"  Most christians know the isolation they endure but sadly the day is coming when a man will report members of his own family, handing those who refuse to bow to the Prince of this world (Satan) to the authorities and perhaps the elimination factories.

One can't help wondering whether the system will find a money spinner in even that scenario as we continue to pollute the seas and destroy the rain forests and the resultant drought destroys crops.
Soylent Green - 1973 a science fiction movie about recycling bodies into Green Biscuits as food supplies simply ran out.

As the scientists and so called experts continue to mess with the planet genuine christians know   without a shadow of doubt the outcome and they rejoice.  I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES

Matthew 24 - 40-42
Jesus said:
Then two men will be in the field, one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding at the mill, one will be taken the other left.
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

WATCH & PRAY

JUDGEMENT

Life is good, we drink out fill,
store our treasure, live our will.
Perfect body, perfect face,
moving with amazing grace.

Worshipping the winning team,
heroes on the pitch and screen.
Buy me, try me, tempt me, come
to the pleasure house for fun.
Faster turns the carousel
opening the door to hell.

Standing on a dirty street,
cold and wet with aching feet.
"Repent the day draws ever near",
they laugh, he's sick and loudly jeer,
and as they meet his silent stare
suddenly he isn't there.

Weary preacher walks the floor,
glancing through the open door.
Praying for her swift release
from pain and pills, eternal peace.
Man of God he fought the fight
to bring the wayward to the light.
He takes her hand, a final prayer
all that remains a bed and chair.

Heavy eyes and weary feet,
working hard his debts to meet.
Desperation, silent prayer
can you hear me, do you care?
From an open bedroom door,
small feet patter concrete floor.
A little child climbs on his knee,
a gentle kiss and they are free.

The hall was filled with every race,
raucous laughter filled the place.
Corruption, fraud and greed danced there,
lust and envy turned to stare.
On through the night they'd drink and dine,
at tables decked with food and wine.

Hurtling from a clear blue sky,
in the blinking of an eye.
Judge, lawyer, banker, king,
tremble now as angels sing.
Whale and dolphin leap the space
heralding His Holy face.
THE DAY OF MAN NOW UNDONE
as they behold the glorious Son.

Silent spinning sphere of grey,
the shroud that cloaks your swift decay.
Below the mist a dark despair
they whispered in a final prayer.
THE MESSAGE THEY CHOSE NOT TO HEAR,
completed, ends their lives in fear,
THIS JUDGEMENT DAY.

A.W. Tozer in his book "The Knowledge of the Holy" first published in 1976 writes:

"Perverted notions about God soon rot the religion in which they appear.  The long career of Israel demonstrates this clearly enough, and the history of the church confirms it...................

The house of God is filled with abominations and filth."

That has certainly happened in my life time as Tozer predicted it would.

In 1973 the late David Wilkerson gave a chillingly accurate "End Times Vision" (available on You tube) events that are unfolding before our very eyes.  A true prophet of God.

The real bride of Christ is scattered around the globe and patiently awaits the return of her bridegroom.

A VERY DIFFERENT WILDERNESS

RESCUE

A mix of concrete stone and brick,
streets filled with the dying and sick.
Cold indifference, they just stare,
those who trust they don't need prayer.

Screeching engines, burning tyres
nightly sirens, deadly fires.
gyrating bodies, stench of sweat
drink, more drink, helps them forget.

Beautiful child, angelic face,
the scene illuminated with her grace.
"No hope, no hope" she sadly cries,
judgement comes on all your lives.

She heads towards the shining light
that leads the way and ends the night.
The chosen recognise her face
and follow blessed by saving grace.

Dedicated to all the innocent little children in this world who through no fault of their own are the victims of abusive powers and authorities.   Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 19 - 14
Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come Me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
KJV

Matthew 18 - 16
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me,  it were better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
KJV

Trillions of millstones in hell - obviously - and millions of little ones removed before their time now happily home.

************************

The pensioner leaned against the stone wall watching the little girl engrossed in conversation with  invisible companions.   The girl giggled and poured imaginary tea into a set of cups arranged for the four visitors sharing her pink plastic picnic table.   A voice came from behind a large evergreen bush partly screening the garden from the highway. "Nearly time for your tea"  called her cautious mother noticing the watching pedestrian.

"Excuse me" said the observer "is the little girl always that happy"

"Yes she is" replied the mother "she spends a lot of time day dreaming with her imaginary friends, we all laugh and say 'she's gone again', but then in this quiet corner of the world she is protected and very blessed.

There was something very special about the child.   She smiled at everyone and didn't appear to be afraid when strangers spoke to her.   She was very different from her peer group who usually had a scared wary look.  Her mother explained "her invisible friends are very real to her, apparently it's not unusual in young children and they grow out of it.   She is quite precocious.

"Strange you should say that" said the woman "because I never did.   I believe in guardian angels, the hand that jerks you backwards on to the pavement when you decided to cross the road at the wrong moment.   Dreams of a better place, far far from what is rapidly becoming hell on earth for some countries.

"Will you join us for a cup of tea" the mother enquired "we had our main meal at lunchtime.  Daddy is away on business isn't he Grace" she said reaching for the toddler's hand "it's just sandwiches and cake"

"I really don't want to intrude" replied the pensioner.

"You are not intruding" replied the mother.

The little girl ran toward the pensioner took her by the hand and led her into the house.  Both the mother and child became a blessing to the elderly lady who seemed to spent most of her outings sat in the doctor's surgery, dentist and opticians.    The infrequent visits of her own children did little to assuage the feelings of frustration coping with a body that just refused to co.operate or be of any practical use to anyone.   Watching Grace growing fast she considered there was hope for the future and she soon became an adopted aunt and part of the family.

Years passed and the growing girl would cycle down the highway still smiling at people as she passed by.   The old woman now leaning heavily on her stick waved back and prayed the girl's imaginary friends were still watchful and protective.   After all she was a very special young girl quite a rare gem in a decadent hostile godless society.

The telephone in the hallway interrupted her train of thought.   "Hi, its Grace, you okay, she paused waiting for a reply"

"Yes I'm fine, just dozing in front of the fire" replied Faith.

"I am getting baptised next week, Mum wondered if you would like to come to the church and then back to the house" said Grace.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world sweetheart" replied Faith "but are you absolutely sure about this because contrary to the prosperity preachers you will be picking up your cross and this world will throw everything at you.   Will you be able to stand apart from your peer group.   Have people ridicule your beliefs, its not easy.   You will have to say NO when you could have said "Yes"   That's if this is a serious commitment"

"I know" replied Grace "I still have a couple of years left at University.   I will be so busy that my social life will be considerably restricted to my christian friends.  Mark is planning his baptism at the same time, we hope to get married when we finish university.  It's all go."

The day arrived and the heavens opened.
Luke 15 - 7
Jesus said:   And I say to you that likewise, joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons who need no repentance.

The room was filled with friends and family laughter that drowned out even the chorus in heaven.
"You haven't had time to sin" suggested one of the few non.believers at the gathering.   "I can assure you I have" replied Grace "I am far from perfect."

John 9 - 41
Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin; but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth"

The years went by, time passing quickly.   Faith realised she had one final battle to fight and then it would all be over.   Changing faces dealt with her daily needs and she could no longer wander down the lanes.   Her home had become her prison and as she watched the daily news report she knew without any doubt it was "the time of sorrows" she couldn't wait to go home, but still she prayed for the suffering victims of the carnage and longed for justice and her Lord's return.

The phone rang in the hallway and she reached for the extension beside her bed.   She heard what she thought was the noise of explosions in the background.   "Faith" it was Grace and she sounded anxious  "I can't get Mum she must have her phone switched off.    It's getting really bad here and if I don't make it back to the U.K. just know I love you all" and the line went dead.

Rita arrived later that afternoon.   She had been shopping in the city and had forgotten to take her mobile phone.   "Sorry Faith,  how stupid of me to forget my phone" she handed a carrier bag of food she had managed to buy.   "Just a few bits, there's hardly anything on the shelves, I pop it in the kitchen".

"Sit down my dear" replied Faith silently praying give me strength Lord.   "Grace phoned from the Middle East this afternoon" she said gently "not sure what was going on but the line went down, she asked me to give you her love as she couldn't reach you.    Rita paled and her instincts told her  something was badly wrong.

"I can't stay" she said rushing to the doorway "have to go and pick up my phone, thanks for letting me know"

When Rita arrived home a police car was waiting outside her driveway and she knew without a shadow of a doubt it meant something awful had happened.    Her daughter a brave young journalist who lived to accurately report the truth in a world of lies and political intrigue had been killed in the latest terrorist bombing attacks.

"Oh dear God, why?" sobbed Rita "why Faith when she wanted so much to see an end to the injustice in this world"   Faith held her hand "she knew what she was doing, she knew it was dangerous but she believed without a shadow of doubt she had to stand against the media lies and half truths.   She is with her Lord.    The grief is always for those left behind.   Mark will be devastated they had so little time together.   Our thoughts and prayers have to cover him and the rest of your family and those left behind.    We are heading for the mother of all wars, but we have Jesus and for us this is not the end.  Grace knew that.

Faith lay in the darkened room wrapped in blankets staring at the flickering candle in the hurricane lamp on the side board.   The power was out.   Food supplies were scare.   Rita had managed to get her some pain relief but her bones screamed "you can't silence us"   She would sleep in the chair tonight it wasn't worth going to bed.   How she would love a hot cup of tea.

The doorbell rang.   Rita stood in the doorway muffled against the cold a thermos flask in her hand.    "We've managed to get the fire going and I know you are all electric so I've bought you a couple of flasks.   One with soup the other tea.    I'll stay with you for an hour and make sure you are tucked up in bed.   We have water boiling on the fire so just give me your hot water bottles, there's a dear"

Rita returned later with two hot water bottles and packed them either side of the frail figure in the bed.    "Good night God bless Faith, I'll call tomorrow.   It's really bad out there and I will be working at the shelter until around 3.0pm see you then" and she secured the door and headed into the blizzard.

Later the next day Rita struggled through the snow drift towards the entrance to the flat.  An ambulance stood in the courtyard.   "Nothing unusual there" considered Rita "they are almost running a shuttle service at the moment.

"Sorry love" a hand touched her on the shoulder "Faith has gone"   It was her neighbour who knew Rita was a regular visitor.   Her daughter's in the flat, just go in"

"So sorry about your Mum Jenny" said Rita.

"Thank you" replied Jenny "but she wanted to go.   She had no desire to stay in this world.   By the way there was a note on the bedside for you.

Rita opened the note which was barely legible it read "Rita, thank you for your love and friendship.   Grace was here, she sends her love, so do I,  God bless.  Love in Jesus.

A book by A.W. Tozer - The Knowledge of the Holy - lay on her bedside table and a portion of text had been highlighted:-

"We save face by repeating frivolously the popular jargon of science.   We harness the mighty energy that rushes through our world; we subject it to fingertip control in our cars and our kitchens; we make it work for us like Aladdin's jinn, but still we do not know what it is.

Secularism, materialism, and the intrusive presence of things have put out the light in our souls and turned us into a generation of zombies.   We cover our deep ignorance with words, but we are ashamed to wonder, we are afraid to whisper mystery"*

There was a scribbled note pencilled in the margin in Faith's handwriting.   This man knew His God.

"Do you mind if I borrow this book?" Rita asked Jenny.

"Of course you can and if there's anything else you would especially like of Mum's just take it.   We loved Tozer, such a great man of God.  His warnings about the state of the church have come to pass.  His prayer at the beginning of Chapter 7 is very prophetic for today's christians as we gather in our small groups waiting for Yeshua's return.

Enlarge and purify the mansions of our souls that they may be
fit habitations for Thy Spirit,
who dost prefer before all temples the upright heart and pure.

Amen

THE JOYFULLY SICK FRATERNITY

Proverbs
19-5

A false witness will not go unpunished
And he who speaks lies will not escape.

If the media reports are accurate, and one certainly needs the spirit of discernment where journalism is concerned,  Pope Frances needs prayer.   I am not a Roman Catholic, but as a born again christian I turn the other cheek and ignore his reported comments, but he is right in one declaration 'that the bible is a very dangerous book'

Yeshua (Jesus) was also considered dangerous NOT by the Jewish people but by the religious leaders of the Sanhedrin and THEY plotted to get rid of him and succeeded.

The church of Rome has a similar challenge and in the past has happily murdered anyone who taught biblical Truth - William Tyndale was strangled then burned at the stake.   John Wycliffe was taken home with a stroke before they could get to him.   Twenty years later he was declared a heretic by the Council of Constantine, and in an act of pure spite they exhumed his body, burnt his bones and threw his ashes into the river Swift in Leicestershire.

Article: huffingtonpost.com/bernard-starr/why-christians-were-denied-access-to-their-bible for 1000 years.

As a late entry into christianity I was fifty four years old before I had a copy of the bible.   Persecution of born again christians continues apace and will only end when Yeshua (Jesus) returns but this particular Pope appears to have insider information that He is 'not coming back'   Yeshua (Jesus) called the religious leaders of His day a "brood of vipers"  which fits neatly with the dark doings of the church of Rome.

Matthew 11 - 29
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Born again christians are "yoked" to Christ, they don't acknowledge either the Pope or the Archbishop of Canterbury - both working towards "one world faith" twisting holy scripture filling their churches with idols and abominations.   God will not be mocked and one might question which Christ are they following - at a guess - anti christ.

Any papacy would feel threatened by those who follow the holy bible because they cannot control the flock.   The tight grip of this particular beast has caused misery throughout the centuries.  It has ruined marriages, murdered and sexually abused orphans and taken food from the mouths of starving children and the poor.

John Bunyan got it right.   Imprisoned for twelve years he used his time writing "Pilgrims Progress" and described the Pope in hell, biting his fingernails unable to touch the christians as they passed through the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

"as a result he can now do little more than sit in the mouth of his cave, grinning at pilgrims as they go by and biting his nails, being frustrated because he cannot intercept them."

Rumours abound that Frances will resign.  According to internet research Jesuits are not supposed to seek high office!!   Perhaps he will then have plenty of time to study the bible and repent.   There are plenty of brilliant videos by Jacob Prasch that might help him to understand the translation and he would benefit from his expertise in interpretation of Holy Scripture.

John - 6-65
Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to Him by my Father.

God chooses who He uses.   Born again christians are the children of a Holy God chosen for this moment in time.   Meanwhile as the lies, rumours and sabre rattling of demented politicians increases fear and stupefied apathy amongst those who do not understand biblical history/prophecy there will be mass panic as the system collapses in on itself.  His children trust in His Word and will rejoice in His kingdom come.

The homosexual and lesbian lobby have infiltrated high places (as prophesied) in what is left of a dying church.   A tattered soiled establishment.

The real church is growing, glowing and radiant following her Shepherd King.   You can't be a born again christian and be in a homosexual or lesbian relationship.

Article: nycpastor.com
"10 reasons why you can't be gay and be a christian" by Dr. Stephen Kim.   Well worth a read.

As born again christians we are called to stand and tell people that it is an abomination before our Holy God.       We never approve or support their lifestyle as to do so we would suffer the same fate

Romans 1 - 32
who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

This world is depraved practising every kind of beastiality including sex with babies and animals.   We are deserving of God's wrath and its coming, but His children despite suffering tribulation will escape His wrath.

Spirit filled christians around the globe are joyful.   They know that with each passing day, complete with its trail of global disasters they get closer to the terrible Day of the Lord.   They face abuse and ridicule from family and friends.  They choose not to walk the way of this world, they do not compromise the teachings of their God and Saviour.   It means saying no to those who promote "gay marriage"   They walk the narrow path to their heavenly father and pray for the lost.

No genuine born again christian remains unchanged by the experience.  All past sins are covered by the blood of the Saviour and its a new start.  The old nature is based on flesh, the new life is spirit filled.   This is reflected in a change of lifestyle, things that offend a Holy God offend His children. They will be ostracised and ridiculed by former companions who enjoy the media circus that constantly advertises the dark permissive side of humanity.

Even an atheist will admit that where the merciless abuse of this precious planet is concerned time is running out.   Any advanced intelligence would want to ensure man doesn't get the chance to infect any other planet,  only God's children will inherit the kingdom.

As a born again christian I can only weep for the little children and the poor who continue to suffer at the hands of Satan's henchmen, but then I know I am truly blessed to be part of the Shepherd's flock and can rest in His peace.

ABBA - THY WILL BE DONE.

EPHESIANS 5 - 8-9 -10-11
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.  Walk as children of light.
(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
