REAL LOVE

Isaiah 53 - 3

He is despised and rejected by men,

a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:

and we hid, as it were our faces from him;

he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Love - listed 77 times in the bible concordance.   A precious gift of God.  The very best this world can offer when two worlds collide and become one and the miracle of life begins again.

Love is sacrificial - the famous bible quote from John 15 -13  greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.   Many famous people have used this quote, but they didn't do it.

Jesus died to save all mankind.    The ultimate sacrifice and greatest love of all.

Man is capable of such incredible cruelty but he is changed and made gentle by love.    It's time to search for that healing love that transforms our every thought and desire.   The hour is late. 

  

As darkness falls upon the earth,

men will tremble, Your plan birthed.

the Chosen One walks through the veil.

In loving memory of  my only love.

True love is never about face or feature,

It's sacrificial, a tender creature.

Love paints the picture, removes every flaw,

they see only beauty, the pleasure in store.

Self is buried once love commits,

each to the other, the true marriage writs.

How sad are the hearts that loves passes by,

to have lived, but not loved at the final goodbye.

Death has no power over real love, that true,

Nicknames

"Is that my Monkey" she asked the watchers "surfing way up there".

They said he smiled and waved at them, well I'd know that smile anywhere.

Someone said he turned around and headed straight for Mars,

that's my Monkey, dream fulfilled, a journey round the stars.

Perhaps next time round he'll look and see

a squirrel wave and shout "it's me"
