FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE

Comment published in the Independent Newspaper by Mary Ann Sieghart.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BELIEVE IN GOD TO CHERISH THE CHURCH.

Small wonder the Church is falling apart if it is made up of such people.     With friends like that who needs enemies.

Second mind blowing comment posted on the internet by a very confused individual who obviously has not read any old testament scripture in his bible, or was this just his version.

Jesus wasn't a Jew.   God just decided to come down in that place.

Oh for heaven's sake read the bible.   Either that or at least speak the Truth,  you don't believe the bible, in which case you have invented another Jesus, a false Messiah, and your destination is HOT HOT HOT.

And if you question scripture read The Testimonium  Flavianum  Josephus Flavius's account of the Christ (Christos) in his historical recording of that time.   FREELY AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET.   No excuse for ignorance.

In Rome in the year 93 Josephus published his lengthy history of the Jews whilst discussing the period in which the Jews of Judea were governed by Roman Procurator Pontius Pilate, Josephus included the following account:-

About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man.   For he was one who performed surprising deeds and was a teacher of such people as accept the Truth gladly.   He won over many Jews and many of the Greeks.   He was the Messiah.   And when, upon accusation of the principal men among us, Pilate had condemned him to the cross, those who had first come to love him did not cease.

He appeared to them spending a third day restored to life, for the prophets of God had foretold these things and a thousand other marvels about him.   And the tribe of Christians so called after him, has still to this day not disappeared.

For those who don't believe in God, or His precious son, it is biblically correct to say God obviously hasn't chosen to draw them to Yeshua.     They remain blind and deaf.    And the study note in my bible states they will be judged according to their conscience.   There are plenty of good, caring people doing wonderful things but they can't see God, they just feel the need to help their fellow pilgrim.   We are stuck on this tiny planet why not help our brother/sister on our journey through life.

GOD CHOOSES WHO HE USES.   Not man.   There are many church goers who are just that.
One woman stated proudly  "I have never missed a Sunday service"   Wonderful - has she read her bible.   If you truly follow God's Word the Lord's day is the Sabbath - Saturday, and the only
congregation I would want to fellowship with are those who know who they worship.  And Messianic Fellowships (Jews and Christians together)  have a deep reverend respect for their creator God and His son.

Nowhere in scripture did Yeshua tell us to worship him, he always pointed his followers to his Father in heaven.    The surreal whacky worship groups covered in tattoos with their heavy metal music are certainly worshipping someone and its not Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mashiach (the Messiah).    Satan was supposed to have been in charge of music in heaven!!!!!   Enough said.

This Holy Week I pray that those who don't know their Saviour will one day meet His awesome gaze.
Meanwhile blessings, love and peace.

May you be spared the "are you under the blood" zealots who pin their hapless victims to the wall.    May you be spared the Pharisees who consider themselves righteous and first in line.
May you be spared the religious who certainly don't seem to practice what they preach.

May you know the love of a true Christian just trying to walk in the steps of their Saviour King realising they are but a thread in the grand tapestry.

Remembering when you moved out of the darkness into His light - Thank you Father.
Remembering the victims trapped and infiltrated by the accuser's followers.
Remembering how in a culture that treated women badly He always spoke on their behalf.   How He loves the Magdalene's, the adulterer and the woman at the well.    Loving the sinner, but hating the sin.

And the positive side - that radiant day, may it come soon,  when He reappears to His people on the Mount of Olives.

Hold fast to your vision and His promise as darkness continues to cover the land.

BARUCH HA BA B'SHEM ADONAI - Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
SHALOM  SHALOM  SHALOM.
