There are warnings in the U.K. that the National Union of Teachers at its annual conference in April passed a motion calling for compulsory teaching of LGBT issues "throughout all phases of state education" including nurseries.   Obviously they are unaware of the suggested millstone they will inherit at the end of their lives.

Matthew 18 - 6

But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.  

A recent article from the Christian Institute states "Two-year-old children should be taught about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual issues according to the NUT."

Get the hard hats ready and prepare to go underground - not that that will help any members of that particular organisation.

Of course it hasn't happened yet, but it will because the Word of God, His statutes and commandments are being twisted and distorted by both secular society and a ragged bride with its own particular brand of "pop" concert worship.   These groups didn't quite achieve fame and fortune but there they stand on the altar!!!!!!! with their weekly moment of fame, that will have to suffice.

What is it going to take for people to realise this is a Holy God.   There are plenty of examples in the bible of prophets prostrate before God.  Trembling and afraid.   The God of the bible punished the Israelites when they went off track.   Yes he'll allow you to go so far - free will - and then its consequences!!!!!   There is another religion waiting in the wings and they are quite happy to murder indiscriminately where your behaviour and beliefs offend their system.     God has always used an enemy to deal with a disobedient people - it's started and its going to get much worse.

Which leaves a small remnant of christians in the U.K. who refuse to bow to the new dictates of the denominations.   For these precious children of a Holy God the future looks a tad bleak but we seek His face knowing He will draw near and give us the necessary strength to endure.

Many years ago I made my commitment to follow Christ in a believer's baptism in a small Baptist church in the South of England.   I say small (that refers to the size of the building) actually the pews were full and the fellowship was warm and welcoming.   I was on cloud nine.   My pastor warned that  the spiritual high I was riding would come to an end and three months down the line the challenges would begin.

True to form the storm arrived when my late husband arrived home with the news he had just lost another job.   The company that employed him had lost its contract.  Okay we still had my job but worse was heading our way.   I remember thinking "here we go again" and turned to encourage the man who was literally being crushed by the system, high unemployment and agism.   "Never mind love" I encouraged "we still have the rent from our cottage and my job, dinner will be ready in about half an hour."   My husband went to watch the t.v. news in another room.   In my heart I was sickened watching this honest man slowly sinking in despair.   He had always provided for his family willingly giving up all his salary, never keeping anything back for himself.   He certainly didn't deserve this.  Suddenly from nowhere a voice said "I will look after you Pauline"  

Never in all my life had I heard my name spoken with such incredible love and I had to grab the sink for support.   My legs felt as though they would give way.   It was just one of many experiences that followed.    Was this the prelude to a trouble free passage through the rest of my life.   Absolutely not.  The battle for survival was about to get much worse and would result in the loss of everything this world values.   But in six gentle words I knew without a shadow of doubt that the Lord would be my strength and my shield whatever lay ahead.

Sometimes people only realise in their darkest hour that the God they deny is awesome and able to save their wretched souls.   Even the most desperate degenerate can experience the voice of God and experience His healing touch.   God knows a genuine repentance and cry for help.

Perhaps the greatest value where the internet is concerned is now there is no need for the travelling circus of evangelists, you can reach the ends of the earth at the touch of a button.   It has never been about personal appearances, literature, a clergy that preys on the poor and with its ill-gotten gains builds magnificent edifices.

Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well exactly where and how she would worship.

John 4 - 23 - 24

But the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.    God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and TRUTH.  

  

The real christians, the true children of God have been touched in a powerful way and they the remnant will build His church.  Knowing their saviour they have compassion for the sheep that are being led straight down the road to hell - and for their witness they may just have to kick the dust of their feet and move on.  The church of appeasement is not listening.

Matthew 10 - 14

And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Assuredly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgement than for that city.    

Genuine christians need to see with the eyes of Stephen and realise that however they exit this world their destination is with their God and they will open their eyes in the glorious company of the martyrs who are just waiting for the grand finale.

Throughout history writers and musicians have praised their God and it is the very simplest song that endures - their talent truly immortalised.

In the days ahead we are going to have to take God's helping hand and lean on Him.   We will be shunned as we stand against state intervention.   My heart goes out to young christians who will be persecuted in perhaps a less dramatic way but nevertheless their card will be marked in the work place and maybe further down the line access to medical treatment may well come at a price.

Little children already targeted by the system will walk through the gate to heaven but their abusers will be dammed for all eternity.  Meanwhile the U.K. is returning to the dark ages.   Yes - I can hear the ridicule and the laughter, and know without a shadow of doubt that in due course that will turn to screams.

The happiest christians are those who don't try to analyse, justify or impress with historical biblical expertise.    

Their faith covers all,

Their hope covers all,

and their Trust covers all.
